The latest version of the JW Player aims to improve an issue that many digital video publishers, networks, and brands currently face: content and IP protection. The release, dubbed version 6.12, includes a partnership with Microsoft to provide additional IP security functions via the software giant’s Microsoft Azure Media Services offering. Specifically, JW Player is now integrated with Azure Clear Key and Microsoft PlayReady.
